Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva holds a purification vase in the left hand, and forms a mudra of speaking the Dharma with the right hand, teaching sentient beings to “refrain from all unwholesomeness and uphold all wholesomeness.” Besides practicing virtues through self-discipline, one should often help the world and benefit others with diligence.
